Do you know Kimora ? Did i tell you i was a big fan of this woman ? Okk, let me introduce you to this fabulous woman.
Kimora Lee Perkins, known as Kimora Lee Simmons, is an american model, actress and mostly a wonderful business woman. She was born on May, 04th 1975 at Saint-Louis (Missouri). She was married to Russell Simmons and they have two children, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee, now she's engaged to Djimon Hounsou and they have a son named Kenzo Lee Hounsou. It's not the most important, i am more interested by her profesional life.
Younger, she was not appreciated by her classmates because of her size and her afro-asian origins. When she 11, her mother sent her to Irene Marie Models, after that, she was discovered by Marie Christine Kollock in Saint Louis. She travelled to Paris, and she signed a contract with Chanel directed by Karl Lagerfeld. There she attracted the international media during the closure of the Haute Couture Fashion Week, dressed in wedding dress. At 14 years old, she was 1m80 and she became the muse of Lagerfeld.
Now, she continues with her career of model, but she's more a business woman. She has been the director of Baby Phat until é 2007, and now she's the president and creative director of Phat fashions. In 2011, she gave birth to a new creation, Kouture by Kimora.
I'm not a big fan of her clothes and i hope the next creations will be better than the precedents *_-
I like this kind of women, these women who work hard, who are independant, dynamic, and who got success as well as men.
